Mission
iMindU GGZ aims to be a green mental health care organization for children, adolescents, and (young) adults, contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by fostering the inner development goals of each individual*.
We seek to reduce the health burden of psychological disorders and complex family dynamics within the context of loss and trauma, attachment difficulties, global transition, and the aftermath of conflicts and wars worldwide.

Vision
iMindU GGZ strives to provide welcoming, compassionate, high-quality, efficient, and effective specialized mental health care, tailored to children, adolescents, (young) adults, and their families, whether they come from the Netherlands or abroad.
We view humans and nature as interconnected and being part of one world. By strengthening the resilience of children and adults through the improvement of mental and physical health, we increase the potential for peace, justice, and the ability for both humanity and nature to coexist harmoniously on this beautiful planet.
Our organizational approach draws particularly from the Ubuntu philosophy (“I am because you are”) and Theory U, both of which place the human being at the center — patients, staff, and partners alike.
We focus on quality, work in a transdisciplinary and recovery-oriented way, and base our treatment approach primarily on modern psychoanalytic theory, attachment theory, and the concept of positive health. We place the therapeutic relationship and the empowerment of the patient at the heart of treatment, viewing specific therapy forms as supportive tools that help build resilience for both the patient and their loved ones. We incorporate the patient’s own system of meaning and worldview into the process.
These principles are embedded in our iCU care program (“I see you” – “ik zie je”).
