Anastacia Dahl
Following my internship at iMindU, I am excited to rejoin the team and continue being a part of the work that I care so much about, this time as a psychologist! Being new in the field, I get to learn from and be supported by the passionate and experienced psychologists around me at iMindU.
Coming from two countries, Denmark and Pakistan, and having lived in five countries, I have a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and the ways in which culture shapes our perspectives. This background brings open-mindedness and sensitivity to my approach, striving to understand both a person’s context as well as the psychological challenges they face. Alongside this, I value being empathetic and encouraging while client’s work on reaching their therapy goals.
After completing my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Utrecht University, I received the Logo-verklaring, which enables me to carry out various diagnostic interviews with adult clients. This includes assessing for ADHD, depression, anxiety, personality characteristics, Autism Spectrum Disorder, intelligence, and more. In addition, my work at iMindU also involves providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and related interventions to adults.
Further, I am a member of the Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen (NIP), which ensures that I adhere to professional and ethical standards in the care that I provide; using evidence-based interventions, and always supporting clients in a safe and respectful way.
