Khatun Mirsujan
- Working as a psychologist awaiting BIG registration as a psychotherapist.
- Graduated with distinction in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy from the four-year post-master program in Münster, Germany.
- Experienced in providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults, particularly in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
During my master’s and four-year postgraduate training as a specialized Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, I worked with patients and families dealing with a wide range of conditions (e.g. depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, behavioral disorders, and elimination disorders) in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Working with children and young people has always been my fascination and passion, as these formative years play a crucial role in shaping future behavior and personality development.
In my collaboration with patients and families, I focus on their strengths and resources, which are often overlooked when facing challenges. By exploring together why you act and feel the way you do, much of the stress can be relieved, helping you regain a sense of control over your current life situation.
The words of psychologist Carl Jung — “I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become” — perfectly summarize my therapeutic attitude and my strong commitment to making a positive difference in people’s lives.
