Do you need a Schengen statement? Please request this at least one month in advance.
If you are under our care, we can prepare a Schengen statement for you. Because you must submit an application to the CAK at least 4 weeks in advance, we ask you to request a Schengen statement from us no later than 6 weeks before your planned holiday. You will then receive it completed within 1–2 weeks. A Schengen statement is only required for visits to a Schengen country. There are non-Schengen countries that accept a Schengen statement. Other countries require a medication statement in English. This is often available from your pharmacy, and if not, we can write one for you. The latter statement requires an Apostille stamp from a court near you in addition to a stamp and signature from your doctor. That is somewhat cumbersome, so we recommend obtaining a medication statement from your pharmacy.

. You will receive the Schengen statement from us within 2 weeks. It must then be processed by the CAK. This usually takes 4 weeks. Keep this in mind if you want to travel on time.
Send the Schengen statement with an iMindU GGZ logo and signature via the CAK website or by post to: CAK, Postbus 84015, 2508 AA DEN HAAG.
The CAK will return the Schengen statement with the correct stamps within 2 weeks.
The Schengen statement is only valid for the duration of the trip.
If you need a Schengen statement within 2 weeks, you must go to the CAK office in The Hague yourself. If you need a Schengen statement within 2 days, apply via the CAK website. Then call 0800-2108 between 08:30 and 17:00 and mention the reference you receive when you submit a digital application.
